In the conditions of war in Ukraine, this is compounded by the operation of electronic warfare equipment, which can affect civilian communication systems, navigation and automotive electronics. The Ministry of Development of Communities and Territories of Ukraine officially reported failures of smart tachographs due to the influence of electronic warfare during air alarms: in such cases, geolocation, date, time zone and other parameters may change.

For the driver, the situation looks simple: you press the button on the key, and the central locking is silent; you touch the handle, and the keyless does not work; you get into the cabin with a mechanical key, and a message like “Key not detected” or “Key not found” appears on the panel. This does not always mean a breakdown. If the reason is precisely radio interference, the car and the key may remain functional, but their brief wireless exchange temporarily does not take place.

Why does the key fob stop opening the car?

Jamming is the jamming of a signal. A device or system creates radio frequency interference that prevents the receiver from hearing the intended signal properly.   • the machine says that the key is not found;

  • button start does not work on the first try;

  • GPS shows incorrect location;

  • bring it to the Start/Stop button;

  • put in a cup holder;

  • insert into a special slot;

  • bring it to the steering column;

  • put in the niche of the center console;

If the car does not lock after a trip

  • for company transport, record failures in accordance with the company's internal rules.

When it comes to freight transport with a smart tachograph, it is worth following official instructions. The Ministry of Development of Communities and Territories of Ukraine advises drivers and carriers to record data that is not being recorded properly in the event of failures and to indicate the nature and cause of the circumstances in the prescribed manner.

  • second key;

  • 12-volt car battery;

  2. Move closer to the driver's door.
