Online.ua — an independent information resource for free people
Online.ua is a Ukrainian information web resource with its own history, editorial legacy and archive of materials created at different stages of the project’s development.
For many years, Online.ua operated as an independent online media outlet, video production platform and space for covering important social, political, economic, cultural and security-related topics. The project’s team created news, analytical materials, interviews, special projects, documentaries and videos dedicated to Ukraine, its people, the struggle for freedom, democratic values and countering disinformation.
Since the beginning of the full-scale war, Online.ua has actively participated in the information resistance: debunking Russian propaganda narratives, fact-checking news, covering the events of the war and telling the stories of people, organizations and initiatives that are bringing Ukraine closer to victory.
Documentaries and video projects by Online.ua were released on the Online.ua YouTube channel, partner digital platforms and Ukrainian television channels, including as part of the national telethon “United News”. They were also shown abroad, including on international platforms, in diplomatic institutions and across partner information spaces.
The total audience of Online.ua materials and video projects across various platforms is measured in millions of views. For us, this is not just a statistic, but evidence that honest information, human stories and the Ukrainian voice matter — both in Ukraine and far beyond its borders.
Today, Online.ua continues to exist as an information web resource that preserves access to materials, archives, pages and related digital elements. The future format of the Website may change over time and will be determined separately.

The mission of Online.ua is to support free access to socially important information, preserve the Ukrainian information voice and promote the sharing of knowledge that helps people better understand the events, processes and challenges of today.
We believe that access to reliable information, freedom of speech and critical thinking are essential components of a democratic society.
Vision
We see Ukraine as part of an open, strong and responsible information space where truth has value, freedom of speech is protected, and citizens are able to receive information, analyze it and form their own position.
